October 2016 Infusionsoft Updates

The October release is coming to your Infusionsoft account soon.  And if you haven’t been paying attention, the monthly Infusionsoft updates are getting better and better.

Although there was a period of stagnant development a year or so ago, Infusionsoft is picking up steam and doing a great job.

Here are a few things coming in the October release that you should be aware of:

What we have been calling the “Beta Email Builder” will now become the default (no longer in beta) email builder.  And there are few little adjustments that make it really exciting:

  1. There is now an HTML mode for the new builder.  It’s a little bit weird to use, but it works.  When you start a new email, before selecting a template or draft, click the “Actions” dropdown” in the upper right hand corner and select “Create HTML Email”.
  1. You now have the ability to left justify your emails.  This comes in really handy when you’re writing emails in a “plain text” fashion in order to have them appear more personal.

Finally!  Infusionsoft has updated the database capabilities to handle UTF-8 characters.  What the heck does that mean?  It means that Infusionsoft can now handle just about ANY LANGUAGE!  This change, along with some things that are happening with time zone capabilities are making Infusionsoft into a system that can handle internationalization very well.

In case you missed it, in the September release, Infusionsoft made some exciting updates to the quoting system.  You now have campaign goals for when a quote is:

  • Sent
  • Viewed
  • Declined
  • Accepted (Payment options unavailable)
  • Accepted (Payment options available, will pay later)
  • Paid

That’s some pretty exciting stuff.

Infusionsoft is getting better and better each month.  I hope you’re paying attention and taking advantage!
