March Madness: Mad Traffic

Note: This post was archived from the Infusionsoft Blog. More details here.

As an entrepreneur, I’m sure you’ve struggled with the task of getting your business, product, or services known in the market place.  Driving traffic to your website, your sales line, or your storefront can be daunting if you don’t know the secret ninja tactics employed by expert marketers.

This month, we’re hosting a Webinar series, “March Madness,” which uncovers the methods, tools and best practices for attracting Web traffic, writing great copy, building effective Web sites and converting prospects into loyal customers. Every entrepreneur, Internet marketer, small business owner is encouraged to attend and it starts tomorrow!

The truth is, this stuff is not rocket science. With a little ingenuity, any business can start to drive mad traffic to their Website. We’ll show you how to grow your business through these tips on these informative Webinars.

For the past couple of years we’ve dedicated a ton of resources to learning and figuring out the best ways for small businesses to drive Web traffic.  We’ve had the privilege of working with leading partners like Perry Marshall, StomperNet, Rich Schefren and Frank Kern.  We’ve exchanged ideas with these partners and now we’re going to spill the beans.

  • Tomorrow, I’ll be hosting the first of our 4-part webinar series, March Madness.  I’m going to reveal simple strategies to drive mad traffic to your website.
  • In the SEO arena, I’ll teach you how to get double listing and site links in Google.  These types of listings capture eyeballs and clicks like nobody’s business.
  • I’ll also show you how to improve your rankings by employing simple internal and external linking strategies.
  • Social media is becoming more and more important and I’ll show you how you can “own” the first page of Google results by putting social media to work for you. (And have your clients talking about you in a GOOD way.)

These Webinars are 100% pure unadulterated, raw, content. There’s not going to be a pitch on this Webinar. Be sure to register now! We’re already over capacity for the Webinar, so just make sure you get onto the Webinar early to reserve your spot.

Thanks.  Talk to you tomorrow.

  1. Great start of the “madness”! 😉 I missed a big part of the webinar due to the time change (daylight saving time). It is only 5 hours difference nowadays. It is now 10:15 PM in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Is it possible to send the “edge” book to an international address?

  2. That was a lot of great content. Actually, each topic could have been it’s own 20 minute webinar. This would work better for me so I don’t have to sit for 1 hour and try to comprehend everything.

I’ve always said that the marketing on the web is very powerful and that it has to include everything. I especially liked the concept of using the social networks as a marketing outlet. The only challange now is to get it done (Maybe one of my kids could do it.)

  3. Fantastic webinar today. Truly one of the best that I have ever seen. A lot of very good information, almost too much in such a short period of time. I was really glad that you offered the notes and ebook at the end. I’m fairly new to marketing and I’m trying to learn as much as I can. I started a small hosting business which actually is going to go “Live” this week. Trying to figure out everything that goes with the hosting business coupled with trying to market it is overwhelming sometimes. On more than one occasion I asked myself “What did I get myself into?”. But being an old businessman, I have a lot of retail experience, family shoe business, construction company and even a 1 man computer consulting business in the mid 90’s, I’ve learned that once the knowledge hits home and the bulb goes off and things come together it could be very gratifying. Scary as it is I can’t wait to get my first hosting customer. But I’m also starting other online businesses and trying to split time is really tough, sometimes I don’t get to bed until about 5:00 am and back at it at 8 or 9 am.

Anyway sorry to ramble but like you said near the end of the webinar I’m trying to start a conversation. Once again I would like to thank you a great webinar and good and concise info.

  4. Thank you all for your comments. It was a blast putting the content together and hosting the webinar. We’ve learned a ton here at Infusionsoft and I look forward to continuing to share the “secrets” of small business growth. Make sure you attend the other webinars this month. They’re going to be killer.

I’d love to hear success stories on some of the tactics I shared: local search, double listings, site links, video marketing, etc. If you’ve succeeded at implementing these tactics and you’ve seen results, let us know all about it by commenting here.

    Thanks.

  5. I thought I was overwhelmed BEFORE I attended! Well, I’ve got to start somewhere. Mike Klingler talks about the baby boomers and I’m on the tail end. I think I can hang with the mechanical (computer) part, it’s learning the internet stuff that’s going to take time. I agree with Marty Albert. I tried to take notes =+(. Nice job, Tyler.

  6. Best webinar presentation I have attended. Being new to internet marketing it is clear I have much to learn. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

  7. Hi Tyler,

Sorry I didn’t get to introduce myself at Infusioncon, but you did a great job and I wanted to thank you.

    Best Regards,

    Joe A.

  8. Thanks Joe. InfusionCon was an absolute blast. Its so great to see the entrepreneurial fire that our customers have.

For those of you asking for the presentation slides, you’ll need to call in and have one of our small business coaches send them to you via email.

    Thanks.

  9. Great job Tyler,
Many thanks for putting this series together, it’s really allowed me to identify weaknesses in my online sales/promotion plan for this FY. I obviously need to work on my linking strategy big time and your 1st seminar has given me great pointers and direction here.
Thanks again to all at Infusionsoft for great advise and direction.
    Regards,
    Simon

  10. I really like the March Madness series. The Mad Traffic gives me some clues about what exactly I need to build a successful online buisness – Traffic. However, how am I going to do it and what am I supposed to get done is another story. Looking forward to see some answer from Infusionsoft soon.

    Thanks…
